I'm preparing two guidebooks to the Sierra Madre Occidental, which is the mountain range extending from the Arizona border down to the Guadalajara/Puerto Vallarta area. The first guidebook will cover the northern half, centered around the Copper Canyon. The second guidebook will cover the southern half. Although I've floated most of the rivers in these mountains, I know others have done some trips there as well. If you have ever ventured into the area for canyon exploration or river trips, I would love to hear about it and possibly have you contribute descriptions or pictures to the guidebooks.
